New Dental Patients

At Polygon Dental Practice we believe that every patient should have a positive, comfortable experience when visiting the dentist. We provide a comprehensive range of dental treatments, both cosmetic and general, and specialising in dental implants. Our aim is simple: to treat all of our patients with the understanding, respect and dignity they deserve.

We always welcome new patients of all ages to our practice. We also specialise in treating nervous patients. To book your first appointment, please contact our friendly reception team today.

When you come in for your first appointment, we’ll ask you to complete a medical history form, so that we can get to know a bit about you and how your individual needs can be best met, as well as making us aware of any conditions or medications that could affect your treatment. We’ll also find out what’s brought you to visit the practice, whether it’s for a general dental check-up, a specific concern or an interest in cosmetic dental treatment.

One of our dentists will carefully examine your teeth, gums and surrounding structures, including a mouth cancer check as standard. If anything suspicious is found, we will refer you to a hospital consultant straight away. Our dentist will take photographs and x-rays as necessary to aid diagnosis, and at the end of your appointment will present you with a treatment plan, including a projected timeline, number of appointments and costs. If you are interested in cosmetic dental treatment, all your options will be carefully explained to you so that you can choose the best treatment for your individual wants and needs.

Emergency Dental Treatment

If you have a dental emergency, you should see a dentist as soon as possible, so please contact us as soon as the emergency occurs. We offer same-day appointments for all dental emergencies, from toothache to lost or broken crowns, chipped teeth and fillings to abscesses, trauma, avulsed teeth and a swollen face. We will always get you out of pain, although depending on your condition you may need to come back for a follow-up appointment if you need further treatment.
